About Me

I have always enjoyed the creative process- drawing, sketching, painting, building and designing in my spare time. During lockdown, I suddenly had more time to focus on these skills. Recycling old bottles became my art therapy and my passion, keeping myself occupied and my mind focused during uncertain times. My family and friends have enjoyed my work so much that they have commissioned more of my work- and this is where ‘Made by Laurie’ started! Since then, I have also engaged in charity work making poppy light up bottles and raising more than £200 for the Royal British Legion. I regularly attend craft markets in my local area of Newport to sell my existing stock there.
